A beveled edge or beveled corner is an edge or corner which has been rounded down or cut on an angled slant. Straight bevels on square or rectangular mirrors are many times machine cut and polished. Shaped mirrors, round or arch-top mirrors require a different technique and are sometimes cut and polished by hand.
